And why does everyone else seem to have life figured out when we’re still improvising?

We talk about adulthood, identity, confidence, luck, wrong decisions, quitting, starting over, social media, the pressure to be “on time” in life — and the uncomfortable possibility that there may be no perfect version of you waiting to be discovered.

Maybe you don’t find yourself.
Maybe you build yourself along the way.

And maybe having your life together doesn’t mean knowing exactly where you’re going. Maybe it means trusting yourself enough to deal with whatever happens next.

Are we all just making it up as we go?

Probably.

And maybe that’s what makes life interesting.
